Ben, 35, is the son of Ben Lamar Combee and Rose Mary Gearin Combee. He grew up in Dalton, Georgia where he attended Northwest Whitfield High School. He got his undergraduate degree in Computer Science from Georgia Tech in 1995. For 13 years, he was living in Austin, Texas working for Motorola, Metrowerks, and Palm. He is now living in Brooklyn, New York and working for Mozilla Corporation on their mobile version of the Firefox web browser. Ben's hobbies include electronics, comedy, and computer history.
Annelies, 30, is the daughter of Larry Lottmann and Nancee Lottmann. She grew up in Austin, Texas where she attended McCallum High School. She did her undergraduate work at Sarah Lawrence College in Westchester, New York. After finishing school, Annelies spent three years in the Peace Corps stationed in Kazakhstan, then she returned to the states to study law at the University of Texas. She is currently working as an associate at Weil, Gotshal, and Manges in Manhattan, NY. Annelies enjoys organic gardening, speaking Russian, and playing the violin.
